Book Voucher BB1M

I got my book vouchers and bought some books that I like. Thank you very much to the government that gave book vouchers that worth RM250 to university and college students.

I used the book vouchers at Popular Online Shop which is very convenient to me. I can choose whatever books I love online, make payment and will send to the bookstore that I wish to. As a Popular's member, I get offered that can make me buy more books. Popular also give more reward when using more vouchers there. All the procedure only took within one week.I spend nothing to get all of this, it's really AWESOME!!!!

I joyed a program which posted in Facebook. Here is the program details :

This is a meaningful event that can make people increase the interest of reading. And is a nice feeling to get different books from different people which you don't know.

As a student, I appreciated the book vouchers that given by the government. Student, please don't sell it because it's illegal. We actually can get things that worth more than RM250, why don't we spend the book vouchers wisely? Some students will have the responses like I don't like to read, my test books are photocopy...... I will make it as a chance to have a hobby - Reading. From books, we can learn from others and to become a better ME!

The end of Year 3

Exam ended. Year 3 ended.

A sem-end lunch with our lecture, Mr Goh. 

From 2013, we are arranged into one class where our story between us start. We are not like other courses, will separate every semester but we are a CLASS from the day we met until the end of our course. 

We are very close, but how close are we?

1.  We have class every day from 8.30 am until 4.00 pm. 
2. We will have a birthday celebration for everyone. 
3. We will have some entertainment section like singing karaoke and watching movie. 
4. We will have sem-end lunch or dinner once we finish our exam with the lecturers who teach us.
5. We will having trip too after the exam!

Yeah, it seems very normal to a university student, but we treasure the friendship we built from Year 1.We are together to complete many subjects either in Chinese medicine or western medicine and some MQA subjects. I seem very hard to switch to a language in our course, but we used to it! Not like others courses, we can dislike a person since we may not meet the same people in one tutorial group or assignments. Every of us have different character, we accommodate, we argue, we hold hands to solve problems. We are a class together from the day we met until our class end. 

Good bye, Year 3 Sem 3!

To 中医5班，I am very glad to have you all in my university time. We have a one year time to stay in a class to complete our course before we are going to posting in China. Stay strong and we will be together until the end of our course! Relax and recharge during semester break, we will create more memories and fighting during Year 4! Happy Semester break!

Hand hygiene as part of an infection prevention and control program in all settings that support surgery, prevents patient infection and reduces an avoidable burden on health systems.

Do you know the steps of hand washing ? Let's learn it !

As a part of health sciences student, I am practicing hand hygiene. I will wash my hand before and after acupuncture, cupping, examination of patient and massage. This is to prevent to get an infection from patient and to prevent infection spread from one patient to another.

Hand Hygiene is not only practicing by doctors, nurses and medical staff, we should practice it too. Hand hygiene can reduce the spread of infection. Let's us practice hand hygiene!

2. World Password Day 

The first Thursday of May is World Password Day. Our email, school portal, blog, and every online account must have a password. How do you, set your password so that your things are secured? Here some tips from https://passwordday.org/ teach us how to set our password.

Online is a very common thing we will do in daily. Many things can be settled online, like shopping, paying bills, online banking and others that related to money. A password must be set strongly to protect our things online like mail, personal information and money. Don't forget your password and share your password with people easily.

3. Cartoonists Day 

Today is Cartoonists Day ! Cartoonists Day celebrates the anniversary of the publishing of the first ever colour cartoon, The Yellow Kid in 1895. Now cartoons are a core component of many newspapers, publications and printed media, and have had (and continue to have) a huge impact on our culture. Which is your favorite cartoon? My favorite is Mickey and his friends! They accompany me from small which create a wonderful childhood for me! At the age of 5 , I remember that I will watch this cartoon every Saturday in the morning. 

4. National Day of Prayer 

The National Day of Prayer is observed annually on the first Thursday in May.  This day of observance, designated by the United States Congress, asks people “to turn to God in prayer and meditation.” The modern law formalizing the annual National Day of Prayer observance was enacted in 1952 and each year since, the President of the United States has signed a proclamation, encouraging all Americans to pray on this day. As a Buddhist, I pray. I pray to Buddha as follows: 

1. I can finish my degree on time and help people with the knowledge I have. 

2. I can take care of my family, especially my grandpa, since I don't know how long I can still take care of him. 

Pray is not a negative action to get something from God. Pray is a positive action to gain positive energy to stay strong, stay positive and stay blessed.

Be More Understanding

Double Parking seems is very common in Bandar Sungai Long. I am a student, to save my money, I choose to park at the shop lot car park rather than the RM1 car park. If I have class, I will go to school around 7 am to make sure that I have a car park.

But there have some funny double park like double park in front of an empty car park, motorcycle in a car park and some stuff in a car park to "book"that place. You can see this not only in Bandar Sungai Long, I can find it at the other places too. Why double park happened? I have some common answer like: Do not have enough parking, I just want to buy something in that shop won't take so much time, I just double park in front of my shop. Double park in a place that not really have enough parking can be accepted but please be more understanding.

Yesterday, I met a double park person with no manner. When I come out from exam hall and wish to go home as fast as possible to have my sweet dream, but my car being blocked. The car owner did not leave any contact numbers in his car. So I kept horning my car for 20 minutes! When the car owner comes out, he was acting like nothing can remove his car. Can you please apologize or having some guilty expression so that I won't be so angry?

Next time if you need to double park, please be more understanding. Let's think if your car being blocked, you are in a rush and you can't leave the place! What is your feeling? Picture yourself in the same situation. Please leave your phone number if you need to double park on your dashboard or stick on your mirror.The road doesn't belong to anyone, is share of all. We are just human, we have emotions! Understanding can make our life prettier.
